Group Convenor Norman Dutton

The group welcomes new music enthusiasts and meets on the 2nd Friday of the month at 10.00 a.m. in members' houses in Brackley, Greatworth and Middleton Cheney for around 2 hours including a refreshment break. It does not matter how ‘musical’ members are; everyone can listen carefully, thoughtfully and without distraction on their own terms. A planned theme provides the basis for the music that members bring for us all to listen to on CD or via YouTube on the internet. A brief introduction is often provided for each piece of music and a short discussion often follows. ALL styles of music are valid listening for this group.

Remember that one person’s interpretation of a theme is as good as anyone else’s. Also, don’t hesitate to ask if I’ve got the CD of something you want to choose!!
